Egyptian Beat Generatorمولّد الإيقاع المصري

Original Mahraganat, Shaabi, Saidi, Baladi, Moulid and Nubian instrumentals, written in authentic maqamat with Egyptian rhythms and instruments. Every beat follows its own arrangement and comes with a 15-point production blueprint.

1Choose a direction اختر الاتجاه

Each direction combines instruments, rhythms and maqamat that belong together. Selecting one generates a beat immediately.

No two beats share an arrangement: fake drops, taqsim solos, darbuka breaks, rhythm switches and maqam shifts appear in a different order every time.

2Saved beats إيقاعاتي المحفوظة

How the arrangement surprises

Each beat draws three or four of these moves and places them differently, so the listener can never predict the next section.

Fake dropThe build hits once with full force, then silence, and the build starts again.
TaqsimThe drums vanish and the lead improvises in free time over a drone.
Darbuka breakEverything stops except a darbuka solo with sak rolls.
Rhythm switchMaqsum turns into saidi, malfuf, fellahi or zaffa mid-song.
Maqam shiftThe melody changes colour on the same tonic, e.g. Hijaz to Kurd.
Up a fourthA whole section of the hook jumps a fourth higher.
Stop & goThe music cuts out for two beats and a crowd chant fills the gap.
Crowd answersThe lead plays a phrase and the crowd chants the reply.
Four openings, three endingsIntro, taqsim, darbuka or cold open; outro, fading drone or a sudden stop.
